Veer Rajwant Singh was born Veer Pratap Singh on 14 February 1991 in Chandigarh, India. Raised in a Sikh household, he showed an early interest in dance and performance. As a child he attended Kalaa Bhavan in Chandigarh for a Bhangra workshop, and his father later enrolled him in both dance and acting classes. He joined theatre at a young age and initially considered working behind the scenes in filmmaking before deciding to pursue acting as his career.
