Vishwak Sen Biography

Telugu actor, writer and director Vishwak Sen (born Dinneesh Naidu) rose from Hyderabad to prominence through low‑budget beginnings and a string of popular

Early life and background
Vishwak Sen was born Dinneesh Naidu on 29 March 1995 in Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad, Telangana. He grew up in that neighbourhood and attended Mother Theresa High School. For higher secondary studies he went to Little Flower Junior College in Hyderabad, where he also completed a degree in journalism. Seeking formal training in acting, he later studied theatre arts at Actor Prepares in Mumbai.

From a young age he developed technical skills related to filmmaking: he learned movie editing while still in school after exposure to a computer training institute run by tenants in his home. He supplemented that early learning with two-and-a-half years of multimedia training before finishing his tenth standard.

Career
Vishwak Sen began his film career as an actor, making his Telugu film debut in 2017 with Vellipomakey, in which he played Chandrasekhar “Chandu.” The film’s release helped him win recognition as a promising newcomer; he received a Best Debut Actor award for that role in 2017. He went on to feature in a series of Telugu films that raised his profile, including Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi (2018), Falaknuma Das (2019), HIT: The First Case (2020), and Paagal (2021). He was awarded Best Actor in 2018 for his work in What Happened to the City.

Sen has expanded his roles in cinema beyond acting to include screenwriting and directing. He directed the 2022 film Das Ka Dhamki. His career has progressed from modest beginnings—he and friends made Vellipomakey with a reported small budget—to participation in larger projects and increased visibility within Telugu cinema.

Public profile
Professionally known as Vishwak Sen following a name change advised by his father’s astrologer, he speaks multiple languages, including Telugu and Kazakh. He identifies as a spiritual person and often hosts pooja ceremonies at home. Personal interests that are publicly noted include travel and a fondness for dogs; he keeps three pet dogs named Max, Baachi, and Ustaad.

Public incidents related to his media presence include a widely shared television appearance in May 2022 on a TV9 Telugu program to promote one of his films. A heated exchange with the anchor during that interview became a viral clip and drew both criticism and support online. A complaint was subsequently filed with the State Human Rights Commission concerning the episode.

Personal life and other facts
Vishwak Sen is married. He is a non‑vegetarian and has been pictured smoking on occasion. He purchased a Range Rover in 2019. Physical details reported for him list his height at approximately 175 cm (about 5'9"), with brown hair and brown eyes.

Latest updates
