Early life and background

Vivek Sharma Bhardwaj was raised in Chandigarh, where he completed his graduation at SGGS College, Sector 26, and later earned an M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Chitkara University. During his college years he played basketball at the national level and took part in the National Cadet Corps. He participated in several extracurricular activities while studying, at times to secure concessions in college fees.

Family and personal life

Vivek comes from a family based in Chandigarh. His parents are Lalita Prasad Sharma and Usha Sharma. He has four sisters: Rekha, Kiran, Seema and Kanchan. Vivek is married to Sabina Singh; the couple wed in November 2022. Sabina is the founder of the theatre group Satrang Theatre and works as a project control officer at an IT firm in Canada.

Vivek Sharma's career spans theatre, film, casting and production work. He moved to Mumbai in 2014 to pursue acting but returned to Chandigarh after a few months when funds ran short. His early film work includes a role in Shreelancer (2017).
