Yashma Asad Gill was born on 19 October 1992 in Jahanian, Pakistan. She attended D. A. Public School in Karachi before continuing her education abroad at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. Raised in a family with ties to the transportation and chartering business, her father Asad Iqbal Gill serves as managing director of Cosmic Transportation and Chartering Network and her brother Shoaib Gill works as a director at the same company. Her younger sister Arooba Asad Gill is a blogger.
