One thing that Nothing has been doing a lot is launching cryptic teasers. Those are usually related to upcoming products and feature images of intricate details of said products or other clues about what’s to come. The company’s latest teaser may continue that tradition, but it may also be about nothing.
Nothing teases a new logo, but it may actually be something else
In typical Nothing fashion, the company shared a cryptic tweet urging its fans to get ready to make history. The post strongly suggests a rebrand as it features two images of the company’s current logo and what could be a new logo.

However, that new logo is something that Nothing has used before to make a joke. In November 2024, carmaker Jaguar changed its logo and launched an ad campaign that quickly turned into a social media meme. Then, Nothing joined the fun by using the new Jaguar font for a fake new logo, which it then used as its profile picture on X.
You may ask why that’s relevant. Well, that 2024 logo was the same as the one the company shared today.
Is this a partnership with Jaguar?

While Nothing hasn’t shared anything more than the teaser, the company commented on a user reply that referenced the company’s Jaguar joke, saying, “you had to be there.” That could mean nothing, but it could also mean a collaboration between the smartphone company and Jaguar.
Once you think about it, the idea is not that ludicrous. We’ve seen many luxury car brands partner with smartphone manufacturers for special edition devices. Some of the latest include the Honor Magic7 RSR Porsche Design and the Realme GT 8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Limited Edition. We’ve also seen Lamborghini, McLaren, and others partner with the likes of Oppo and OnePlus.
A pure speculation, but a Nothing Phone (3) Jaguar Edition could be next. Of course, we’ll need to wait a bit before getting the official details about it.
Down for it
I’m not the biggest fan of car-branded smartphones, but I think Nothing and Jaguar could be a fun combination. If not for anything else, having two British companies collaborate after a nasty joke would at least include some fun marketing.
