A major design shift toward premium materials suggests the fitness tracker is evolving into an entry-level smartwatch
Huawei’s next-generation fitness tracker, the Band 11 Pro, has been prematurely listed in the company’s official Smart Life and Health apps.
The device’s appearance in official system apps suggests the hardware is finalized and already integrated into the Huawei ecosystem, with previous rumors pointing toward a global launch as early as February 26.
Additional leaks from WinFuture also indicate significant feature upgrades, including GPS and 2,000-nit peak brightness on the Band 11’s AMOLED display. The leaked images also reveal notable design tweaks for the series.
While the Band 11 Pro retains the signature rectangular form factor, the frame now features curved edges and a metallic finish, representing a pivot away from the more plastic feel of traditional budget models.
The display appears to adopt a subtle side curve, and, compared to previous iterations, the bezels have been narrowed. Huawei is also introducing new strap options, including an olive-green braided band and a sky-blue silicone version (both shown above).

Significant GPS and display upgrades
The headline upgrade for this generation is the inclusion of integrated GPS, a feature previously reserved for higher-end models such as the Watch Fit 4 and the Watch GT 6 series.
The hardware itself has also received a significant display overhaul. The new 1.62-inch AMOLED panel features a resolution of 482 x 286 pixels, but the standout spec is its 2,000-nit peak brightness.
The casing has been upgraded to an aluminum alloy, keeping the weight at a mere 14g without the strap, while maintaining 50-meter water resistance and an IP67 rating for durability in all weather conditions.
Powering the experience is a 300 mAh battery that lasts up to 14 days in power-saving mode or 10 days under typical usage with frequent heart rate and SpO2 checks enabled. Smart features have also been expanded; users can now answer Bluetooth calls directly from the wrist and send quick replies to text messages.
Again, all the leaks—internal and external—point to an official announcement either this month or next. And while we haven’t seen pricing for the ‘standard’ Band 11 yet, we expect pricing for this series to range from £40–£100 ($50–$100).
Stay tuned for more on this one.
