The Huawei Mate 80 Pro is finally launching in global regions at a grand event on February 26th. Besides this, there will be a bunch of other products like the FreeBuds Pro 5. The company has now confirmed another product, the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2, and shared a teaser. True to its name, the wearable will cater to runners and should get some dedicated features too.

It was co-developed with two-time Olympic marathon gold-medalist Eliud Kipchoge. The company has shared a short video clip highlighting the new “Intelligent marathon mode” that will help users train for marathons.
Speaking about the co-creation experience, Eliud Kipchoge said that the co-creation is quite rewarding to him and he’ll offer insights and suggestions to improve the smartwatch experience, not just for elite athletes, but for all runners around the world.

The Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 should arrive with a bunch of notable upgrades over its predecessor. It’ll also reportedly get ultra-precision positioning. The smartwatch may get a circular dial, going by the previous teaser video. For now, there’s pretty much nothing we know about the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2.
In addition to the Huawei Mate 80 Pro and Watch GT Runner 2, Huawei will also reportedly launch the Band 11 Pro and the MatePad Mini tablet on the stage on February 26th. As for the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 5, they originally debuted in China alongside the Mate 80 series last year.
