Smart glasses are quickly going from simply cool—but niche—gadgets to really useful tools. Infinix made a big splash at CES 2026 with the AI GLASSES series launch, including a “Pro” model. The company markets these wearables as an alternative option to the bulky headsets available on the market. The product seeks to stand out with virtues such as light weight and support for many languages.
Infinix’s AI GLASSES Pro Put a 12MP Camera on your Face
The flagship model, the AI GLASSES Pro, centers on a “hands-free” philosophy. It features a 12MP ultra-wide lens that captures photos and 1080p video from a first-person perspective. Instead of fumbling for a phone, users can simply use voice commands to snap a picture in less than a second.
To ensure the images look good in different environments, the smart glasses use a dedicated imaging chip. This hardware handles the heavy lifting for stabilization, night mode, and portrait optimization. This imaging processor works independently from the main system. So, the glasses manage heat better and maintain a longer battery life during extended use.
169-language translation support
The built-in translation engine is probably the most impressive part. The system supports 169 languages, including many regional dialects that big tech companies often forget about. Recently, this technology got a lot of attention around the world for how well it does in machine translation competitions. It could become a real option for travelers and professionals who work abroad.
Beyond simple translation, the glasses can record and transcribe conversations with a single tap. The AI even identifies different speakers, turning a standard meeting or interview into a searchable text document. This makes the glasses feel less like a camera and more like a personal secretary.
They just weigh 35 grams
Smart glasses only work if people are willing to wear them all day. Infinix addressed this by using a memory-nylon frame that weighs just 35 grams—roughly 22% lighter than many current competitors. The design looks more like traditional eyewear than a tech product, which helps them blend into social settings.
The audio experience uses an “open-ear” design with five integrated speakers. This setup allows users to hear their music or the Folax AI assistant clearly while remaining aware of their surroundings, such as traffic or office conversations. For those who don’t need the camera, a standard audio-only version is also available. Plus, these glasses feature interchangeable frames to match different styles.
The brand says that the case can charge the glasses up to nine times. Infinix says that with normal use, its AI Glasses can last a whole day on a single charge. The company actually wants you to wear them almost all the time.
Availability
Infinix has not yet officially confirmed the pricing details for its AI Glasses. However, we know they will arrive on the market sometime in 2026. The launch coincides with other major announcements from the company during the ongoing CES, such as the “Direct-to-Call” technology that could truly make satellite telecommunications mainstream from your phone.
