The smartwatch will debut in China—and is likely to be rebadged for the next OnePlus flagship smartwatch
Oppo has officially confirmed that its next flagship smartwatch, the Oppo Watch X3, will be announced on 17 March—and given us our best look yet at the design.
The brand first published teasers about the Watch X3 on Weibo last week, hinting at the titanium casing and design outline. Now, it’s confirmed that the upcoming smartwatch will be unveiled simultaneously with the Find N6 phone during a ‘global premiere’ on March 17.
True to previous form, the company has made no mention of the Watch X3’s availability outside of China in its social media teasers. However, we expect the hardware to follow in its predecessors’ footsteps by launching globally via the OnePlus Watch 4, and then later as a full global edition.

If history holds, that should also mean the international version will ship with Wear OS 6. And if it does, the first design details hint that it may rival the only other existing titanium Android smartwatch, the Samsung Galaxy Ultra.
First official design details confirmed
As you would expect, there’s still plenty we don’t know about the Watch X3. However, Oppo has revealed that the new generation is 16% lighter and 6.4% thinner than the Watch X2, which weighs 49.7g and measures 11.8mm.

That’s likely all down to that new unibody titanium build, which also secures an IP69 rating and should ensure the smartwatch is protected against high-pressure and high-temperature water.
For reference, the X2 featured a heavier stainless steel case (though it did have a titanium alloy on the bezel). This time, Oppo claims the X3’s entire structural chassis is machined from a single piece of metal.

The latest teasers published via Weibo also give us our best look yet at the two new case styles.
One variant, shown in the orange and grey variants above, features a dodecagon bezel, while the other (used for the all-black edition shown below) is a more classic circular design.
Both versions also feature on-show screws on the bezel, which look plenty more rugged than the Watch X2 and OnePlus Watch 3 that arrived in 2025.

Regarding the device’s internals, we expect the Watch X3 to retain the brand’s signature dual-chip architecture, likely pairing a Snapdragon W-series processor with an efficiency chip to maximize battery life. However, it is also possible it’s snuck the just-announced Snapdragon Wear Elite chip in there, instead.
For the rest—and that includes any potential global launch details—we’ll have to wait for the official announcement (or another Oppo teaser in the coming days). Stay tuned.
