Another challenger officially joins the ever-crowded AI glasses market
Following its debut at CES 2026, Rokid has officially released the aggressively priced $299 AI Glasses Style globally.
This device marks a strategic shift for the brand—a company traditionally known for AR display glasses—as it moves into the more ambient smart glasses category currently dominated by Meta.
By stripping out the display, Rokid has achieved a featherlight weight of just 38.5 grams, making it one of the most comfortable smart wearables ever produced for 24/7 use. The Style is also equipped with a 12MP Sony sensor that can shoot 4K video in three formats (3:4, 4:3, and 9:16), making it a dedicated tool for TikTok and Instagram creators.
Most importantly, it supports continuous recording of up to 10 minutes, breaking Meta’s 3-minute limit on its current hardware. This performance is managed by a unique dual-chip architecture: an NXP RT600 processor handles low-power, always-on voice tasks, while a Qualcomm AR1 chip manages high-intensity imaging and AI workloads. This split-processing allows for a massive 12 hours of battery life (and 24 hours of standby).
Dealer’s choice
Rokid’s most disruptive move, arguably, though, is its open AI ecosystem. While other brands generally have prompts answered by a specific LLM platform, Rokid’s is model-agnostic.
That means users can toggle between ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and Qwen, while also accessing global services like Google Maps and Microsoft’s translation tools.

Rokid is also positioning the Style as a ‘prescription-first’ device, supporting a wide correction range up to ±15.00D. Through a global online platform, users can receive custom-cut lenses—including photochromic options that darken in 25 seconds—within 10 days of ordering.
We’ll be testing these out soon, so stay tuned for our full, in-depth review.
