Straight out of the box, the first thing you’ll notice about the Galaxy Chromebook Plus is its sleek and lightweight build. The laptop clocks in at just under three pounds with 11.8mm of thickness, but you still get a gorgeous 15.6-inch AMOLED display and a ton of ports along the side, including HDMI, dual USB-C, and a microSD card slot.
The Galaxy Chromebook Plus is just as impressive under the hood, with 8GB of RAM, an efficient Intel Core 3 100U CPU, and up to 13 hours of battery life on a single charge. The laptop also comes with a few useful features that you might not expect, such as a backlit keyboard and Samsung’s handy Quick Insert key. As I mentioned above, buying the device from Best Buy also lands you 12 months of the Google One AI Premium plan, which means you get to enjoy all of the latest Google AI software features alongside 2TB of free cloud storage.
The only real problem with the Samsung laptop is that you’re limited to 256GB of storage, plus you’re missing out on a few modern features that you may want, such as a touchscreen display and a fingerprint scanner.
