Is Google’s 2024-released Pixel Watch 3 better than last year’s Samsung Galaxy Watch 8? Probably not, but the battle between the two Wear OS-powered smartwatches is certainly a very close one, while the older device is considerably cheaper in a large variant with built-in cellular connectivity at the time of this writing. That’s especially true if you don’t mind getting the Pixel Watch 3 in “new; open box” condition, in which case you can pay as little as $215.99… if you hurry. That’s substantially down from a $399.99 list price for a brand-new, unused, unopened, and undamaged unit with a 45mm case and 4G LTE support, although one such device is currently sold by Amazon at a pretty hefty discount of $160.

Still, that’s not as awesome as Woot’s latest $184 price cut, which obviously eclipses all previous markdowns scored by this Android-compatible intelligent timepiece at all major (and semi-major) US retailers.
What does “new; open box” mean? It’s simple, really – you’re looking at a new and unused product here that’s been opened for one reason or another before being repackaged and sold as part of this limited-time promotion with a 90-day warranty.

While some “non-essential items may be missing” from the box in which Woot will ship these cheaper-than-ever 45mm Pixel Watch 3 units with 4G LTE, their flawless functionality and cosmetic aspect are guaranteed, so I do believe you should strongly consider this deal if you want to get one of the best smartwatches out there at the lowest possible price.Naturally, the newer Pixel Watch 4 is better, but not by much, and compared to the aforementioned Galaxy Watch 8, the Pixel Watch 3 is likely to hold a key design advantage for many prospective buyers. As far as health and fitness tracking are concerned, the two are not very different, and although your 216 bucks won’t buy you vascular load or antioxidant index monitoring, you will get things like ECG technology, a blood oxygen sensor, in-depth sleep tracking, and even a fancy skin temperature sensor.
