Known for its projectors, XGIMI is entering the AR glasses space at CES 2026. XGIMI is launching a new MemoMind brand, under which its AI smart glasses will be sold. There will be three different models, but we have information about two models at the moment. The company is leveraging its expertise in optics and engineering to produce glasses that appear to be very light.
XGIMI launches AI smart glasses under a new MemoMind brand
The first model is called the Memo One, and it’s a flagship option. This offers features and experiences closer to typical “smart glasses.” This includes integrated speakers and a dual-lens display, which shows the Memomind’s OS in full. Then there’s the Memo Air Display, which is a stripped-down model that weighs just 28.9 grams. This just has a single lens display.
The glasses will reportedly ship in eight different frame styles and five different temple designs. You can have them with prescription lenses as well. The company is reportedly using microLED displays instead of waveguides. This could be a problem for folks with short sight to focus on text.
AI features at play
XGIMI’s AI assistant offers features like translation, summarization, note-taking, reminders, and contextual guidance that operate in the background with minimal digital interference. The company notes that they will run on a hybrid-LLM that picks the best model for the task. It will switch between OpenAI, Azure, and Qwen tech depending on what it thinks will offer the best solution for a specific task.
Besides the Memo One and Memo Air Display, there’s also a third model in the works. However, no details are available about that currently. As for the pricing goes, the XGIMI Memo One sets you back by $599 and will reportedly be available to pre-order after CES 2026.
