Downdetector?

Usually, when there’s a significant outage like this, we turn to Downdetector to get an approximate idea of how many people are dealing with the outage.
In this case, however, that’s not as reliable, as the website is also hosted by Cloudflare and was down for an extended period. It’s back now, but users haven’t had a chance to file their reports about ChatGPT problems.

OpenAI acknowledges the outage

OpenAI, the owner of ChatGPT, has updated its status page to acknowledge the outage. At first, the company said it was investigating the issue, but it has since updated the status page, saying, “We have confirmed that the incident is caused by an issue with one of our third-party service providers. We will provide updates as they become available.”
While OpenAI didn’t name the company, we have to assume it’s connected to the massive CloudFlare outage that’s sweeping the internet right now.
