Atisha Naik was born on 22 March 1968 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Raised in the city she still calls home, she showed an early interest in performance and began acting as a child. Career

Atisha’s professional life is rooted in theatre. She started performing on stage at a young age, with one of her earliest known theatrical appearances being the production Good Bye Doctor when she was eight. Over the years she has been part of many Marathi plays, including long-running and well-regarded titles such as Wada Chirebandi, Ashi Hi Shyamchi Aai, Sorry Wrong Number, Sakharam Binder, Gidhade, Suryachi Pille, Varyavarchi Varat, Jaubai Jorat, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan and Dili Supari Baykochi.

Her stage work earned industry recognition: in 2018 she received the Attention Catching Actress Award at the Sanskruti Kaladarpan ceremony for her performance in Ashi Hi Shyamchi Aai.
