Soundarya Sharma was born on 20 September 1994 in Preet Vihar, East Delhi, and grew up in a family from New Delhi. She completed her schooling in Delhi and went on to earn a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the Delhi College of Medical Science. After finishing her dental internships, Soundarya discovered a stronger pull toward performance and storytelling, which led her to take acting classes at the National School of Drama and relocate to Mumbai to pursue work in film and television.
