Raised in the region she calls home, Gazal trained in dance from an early age and later expanded her performing skills by taking an acting course at Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares. Her formal training includes Jazz and Contemporary dance, and she has worked as an instructor at The Shiamak Dance Academy, performing in numerous stage shows with choreographer Shiamak Davar.
Career
Gazal’s onscreen work began with small roles in feature films. She appeared in mainstream Bollywood productions in the mid-2000s, including Dhoom 2 (2006) and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008). Her entry into South Indian cinema came with a small role in the Telugu/Tamil film Uu Kodathara? Ulikki Padathara? (2012). She also took part in the Tamil short film The End (2013).
