If BJP Comes to Power, CM Yogi Adityanath Will Be Removed in 2-3 Months, Says CM Arvind Kejriwal

Date:

Lucknow: Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal made a bold prediction on Thursday, claiming that if the BJP wins the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be ousted from his position within two to three months. Kejriwal suggested that this move would pave the way for Home Minister Amit Shah to succeed Narendra Modi as Prime Minister, adhering to an informal retirement norm at age 75 that Modi set in 2014.

Kejriwal also alleged that the BJP plans to imprison various opposition leaders, including Yogi Adityanath, Mamata Banerjee, MK Stalin, Tejashwi Yadav, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, and Uddhav Thackeray. He criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi while expressing support for Amit Shah as the next Prime Minister, urging the public to back this transition and attributing his political resilience to divine support.

In response, BJP leaders have dismissed Kejriwal’s claims, stating that the retirement norm does not apply to Modi and reiterating Modi’s commitment to lead India until at least 2029. They highlighted Modi’s dedication to the nation and his vision for a ‘Developed India’, countering Kejriwal’s assertions about the party’s leadership and future strategies.
