Lotus Launches Eletre Electric SUV in India, Priced at Rs. 2.55 Crore

Lotus Cars, the British sports car manufacturer, has made its India debut with the launch of its first electric SUV, the Eletre. The Eletre is priced at Rs. 2.55 crore (ex-showroom) and will be available in three variants: Eletre, Eletre S, and Eletre R.

The Eletre is powered by a dual-motor electric powertrain that produces up to 600 horsepower and 710 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.95 seconds and has a top speed of 265 km/h. The Eletre is equipped with a 112 kWh battery pack that gives it a range of up to 600 km on a single charge.

The Eletre comes standard with a host of features, including a 15.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15-speaker KEF-sourced sound system, a four-zone climate control system, a panoramic sunroof, and a head-up display. The Eletre S and Eletre R variants get additional features, such as a carbon fiber aerodynamic kit, 22-inch alloy wheels, a sports suspension, and a more powerful electric powertrain with up to 900 horsepower and 985 Nm of torque.
